The Galápagos Islands is popular for its unique wildlife inhabitants, such as giant tortoises, sea lions, penguins and different bird species can all be seen on the islands. The landscape of the islands is beautifully barren and volcanic and the highest mountain among the islands is the Volcán Wolf on Isla Isabela, which is 1707m high. In 1978, the Galapagos was listed as a World Heritage Site and strict controls on tourist access are maintained in order to protect the natural habitats. All visitors must also be accompanied by a national park-certified naturalist tour guide.

The Galapagos Islands have a highly variable climate and temperature even though there are just 2 seasons in the islands: the hot/rainy season and the cool windy season.

The hot/rainy season starts from December to June, when humidity is high and average temperatures are in the 82s F (27° to 31° C). There may be occasional rains, but the climate are generally warm and sunny.

From June to November, you can expect cool winds with temperatures average about 71s F (21° to 25° C) during the day and lower at night.

The Peak season of Galápagos Islands is typically December through May when the seas are the calmest and the weather are the warmest. However during the summer months June, July and August, they are also very popular as the animals becomes more active. For September through November is typically a low season when most boats will leave the islands for dry dock. For the divers, the peak season is from July till November when whale sharks can be found at Wolf & Darwin!
